Users who already paid for STS 4000 and MOD II (not to mention MOD I and MOD III) ought to have an option to get something else for free instead.

Why reward the worst customers and not the best?

well those existing users would be pulsar1/electra/Luna2 users.

i know I would include it for free.
the mod II sounds amazing and is truly addictive. it's also quite dsp hungry which would surely temp customers to increase their dsp stock.

well they discuss about the STS4000 and MODII because of the situation that some users paid for it and some don't. they don't want to bump the already paid users... Probably they won't give it out though.. but thats a point why the existing users dont get the big packs... some users paid for them and some didn't so its the same situation here... u would bump the users paid for it...

until then,

How about adding a new SRB and get the packs for free.

the word is with a new SRB 6 DSP board we will be able to pick one of the packs-with the 14 DSP we will be able to get the 2 packs for free. Upon registering online.

So those Luna guys/Pulsar I guys here is a solution that will give you the new devices and the horsepower for the price of an SRB.

I think this is fair.

Another suggestion:

I have a LUNA II, Pulsar "XTC" and a Pulsar II. I also purchased the mix'n'master pack.

So: For all the users who have one pack should get the other for free!!!

That would be nice for EXISTING customers who already spent a lot of money!!

I’m not a market analyst, but it is very simple for me to understand that old prices cannot be compared with new prices because there is a big difference between what happened two years ago to what is happening today. Those attached to their “gone money” are totally out of place when saying that if they pay such and such amount of money, they should get such and such benefits for free… it sounds totally childish.

We all, when we bought our CWA boards did it in purpose, without a machinegun behind our head pushing us to the shop. We bought a Pulsar a Luna or a Scope because we wanted to, nobody obliges us by force. If you bought something, is because you wanted it. I don’t remember to have received any note, or special statement or anything of the like saying: “We, Creamware, promise in the name of the Round Table, to give from now on, and through a period of 6 years free plug-ins”. Common! We got it as is, with nothing else but the card and its software. Where do these absurd ideas come from?

It is clear to me, that those guys working in CW and now CWA are passionate music and technology lovers, but that doesn’t mean they have be become your servants. We all have to work to get a living, so they do, it’s very simple.

What happened 2, 3 or 4 years ago should not be in this thread to compare with what is happening today, the market is changing at fast speed, so companies have to change as well.

To have misinformed us telling in the one side that we all would get the upgrade for free with all the goodies inside, and in the other hand, saying that it is not like this is a rather harsh mistake I must say, perhaps due to some luck of organization cos they are getting on the road anew. These kinds of mistakes can be very small, seen from the side of the company, but can cause serious misunderstandings in the user community. Nevertheless, I am not really criticising CWA, we all mistake. But I wanted to say this for readers to understand what I think.

I was in serious doubts when I heard we would get more of these high end plug-ins for free… I just didn’t believe it, and I was right. Why should I still, AFTER ALMOST 6 YEARS OF FREE UPDATES AND SEVERAL GREAT GIFTS, receive more plug-ins? Of course I would like more of them, I would just like them all almost, but for free? That seems awkward to me, it makes no sense to keep receiving high-end plug-ins because I spend some money 6 years ago! I would perhaps expect it if my mother was the owner of CWA, what would have been very nice by the way… but not even a brother would do it for you, your brother after 6 years, will tell you: hey man, sorry, but I need some help in there you know?

totally agree with nestor! couldn't have said it better. me to, was somehow mislead, but didn't bang my fist on the table, nor pulled out my hair, when hearing it was some words that came out wrong. merely a little voice inside my head said 'should've known, dude'

so, please, fortune, come back

Nestor, your attitude is refreshing. I doff my cap to you sir.. theres a lot of people in the world (not just on this board) who could learn something from your words and be a lot happier and content as a result.

Well I hope they sort one thing out quickly, which was a problem with the old CW as well, communication.

Start communicating more clearly to stop all these rumours spreading.
