Still no news - they are taking there time on this one. I will write another email today to see if I can continue to push it along.

This error is getting very annoying. I wish they would do something to fix it.

I will admit it can be worked around without too much trouble, but when I am showing off my Pulsar system to all the people who stop by my studio, I don't like errors to pop-up (doesn't make my Pulsar card I have been telling them all is so great look at its best).

To be or not to be. What was the question?

You guys are aware that if you are mixing generation 1 boards (Pulsar 1, SRB) with generation 2 boards (Pulsar 2, Scope, Luna) in one system, you'll have to make some changes in the cset.ini, according to the manual, right?
Thanks for listening.

not here.(power pulsar p1 and p1srb)
works better without the cset change.

I'd like to add that this is not only minimax problem. I'm not using synths at all, only mixing and effects. Still I've got DSP overload messages with my dual Pulsar II system. It seems, the more you push your DSP's the more unreliable it becomes. Works fine until I save and reload.
In my case deleting A-dat source module seemed to cure it (no matter wheter it was active or not). I think CW should really pay some attention to multiple card opration and get them working reliable!

it's a natural matter of fact that such a complex loading/unloading scheme like the one applied in SFP may get stuck once in a while.
Just have a look at the dsp folder in SFP/app for a count of the items - all that is dynamically adapted to the current needs of the application.

My respect for SFP grew significantly when I tried out the synths that came with a MidiMan Lagoon card. Literally minutes to load a rather simple device (for Motorola DSPs).

cheers, Tom

Not sure if this is quite the same thing but this has solved a lot of problems for me:
I had 'PCI overflow errors' after installing a UAD card, with the same 'retry' suggestion.....the solution.....
Disable any Graphics hardware acceleration, and set 'PCI Latency' in your BIOS to 64 or higher.....
These tips are in the 'support' section of the pdf manual, along with a few others worth checking
