In your page you link to http://www.creamware.com which no longer works here. Does that still work for anyone else? might want to update them to http://www.cwaudio.de

Judging from the website SFP 4.0 just looks like a repackaged SPF 3.1. What's the big news here?

The big news is that a new company is up, huge efforts and night & day work has been done to keep alive the best thing that is available for computer musicians today. This is one of the rare cases in wich a small company, filed for insolvency, instead of dying or being absorbed by some giant that could bring a nasty relation with customers (see payed upgrades policy of pinnacle-steinberg), keeps on giving free upgrades, offers great deals and decides to keep it's projectual strenght opening their SDK for free!

If that's not news...

I have respect for people who believe in what they are doing, because they do it well.
It was easier to sell everything many months before, the owners could now stay in some nice islands instead of keep on the same work, taking new risks, and probably working double as hard...

Good for us it's not so!

actually no news about the actual SFP 4.0 software upgrade has been released yet so I don't know on what sources you base that observation.

Hi, I think this a great work and celebrate so much that Frank or CWA listen all things that anyone of us reported for a best marketing in company and the best is a free SDK for de velop devices for this platform this open all the doors to the goal.
Imagine a lots of companys and people make devices for Scope...
Thank you CWA for all.

even more emphasized by the fact that Frank indeed seems to love nice islands...

I agree (as to the rest of your post) that it's an immense step to open the SDK to public access - under some reasonable restrictions.
That kind of software is usually beyond the financial resources most of us have.

cheers, Tom
