What about a device that would automatically increase PCI load (e.g. making heavier & heavier demands on the PC's host RAM) until a PCI overflow occurs?
The device could indicate at that point what load value was reached (or...it could be updating a display of this value as it increases the load).

edit: I had a word with some work collegues about monitoring PCI performance / capacity yesterday. Apparently, the only way to do this at the mo' is to spend ££££££££s on an expensive bus analyser card, as the bridge chipset doesn't support any software-related way of getting at this information (shame).

could I be doing something wrong with this test????
I am able to load 5 large + 1 small before SFP comes up with an error!!! I am very surprised after noticing that most people can't load above 4? Mobo is P4PE running win98 with 1g DDR, 2.4G P4, 2 Scope SRB, and 1 Pulsar II.
Should I being doing something else with SFP/cubase at the same time? or is this right and I am a lucky one?
