Hi!!!
Next week i will recieve my new PC (Future Media SAV, 3.2Ghz Intel, 2 GB Ram, Matrox650).
I will build in the RME Hammerfall DSP and one TC Powercore.
I still got one older PC which i only use with my Pulsar Cards ( P1, P1SRB and P2 (14 DSP's))
running a PII at 400Mhz. This PC exist only to host my PulsarCards and SFP running W2K.
What do you think! Should i stay with this external PC, sending midiout from my new PC to PulsarPC, Sound comes back via Adat? Or shall i try to build also this three CW-Cards into the new one?
Any suggestions?
I mean, since now i was allways happy, running my CW-PC seperatly without any probs...
Thanks,
Stefan

This way the CW-PC is an bomdastic Workstation.
Never touch a running system....

Having an external system is OK, but if you want better integration with your sequencer software -- routing tracks to effects and back again -- it'd be good to have it all in one machine. But I'm sure whatever you want to do will work fine.
