Hi,

Would you all be so kinda as to post your CPU, GPU, and case temperatures if you have that information available? Also post your basic processor specs and number of system fans.

Can anyone give me input on these figures?I'm trying to evaluate my system.

My system:

P4 3.2GHZ
1x 120mm rear fan
1x 80mm front fan
1x 80mm side fan

* The fans are the slow / quiet Pabst fans

Idle temp:

CPU: 37-39C
GPU: 40C
Case: 34C

Full load: (Prime95 stress test - 1 hour)

CPU: 54C Min / 58C Max
GPU: 41C
Case: 40C

Any thoughts?

My first thought: if you want to compare, make sure you can. You should at least include the ambient temperature before compare in-case temperatures with others.

At 22 C ambient these are my temps:
Idle: Case=28, CPU=27, Pulsar=41 (sfp not loaded)
1 hour 100% CPU load: Case=32, CPU=38, Pulsar=50 (sfp loaded with mv-test)

My CPU is a 2.8 P4 running at 3.2, CW hardware is a Pulsar2 and a Scope SRB.
Temp on the pulsar is measured with an extra temp-sensor glued to one of the DSP-chips.
CPU is cooled by Zalman 7000Cu, the case has 3 low noise fans: 1x5cm intake in the lower front, to cool the CW boards, 1x12cm intake in the sidepanel, 1x9cm outlet in the upper back. PSU fan is low noise as well. All fans are fixed at 7V supply, and are hardly audible.
Cheers,
Rob
