You can switch between the normal Lexicon PCM91 algorithm and a downsized
algorithm which still sound close to the original algorithm.
Earlier (I think) you mentioned, the algorithm would be downsized.

Does this mean a slightly downsized and a downsized version, or does it mean a true and a downsized version?

Hollaho!
This seems to be gigantic!!!! My first impression on my 2nd pulsar computer (a lame PII 400) was that one is able to turn that machine in a reverb-machine (think you could do this even with 1 pulsarI (I tried it with 2xpulsarI and only half power were in use)

The sound delicious for my taste. It was a bit hard judging it relaxed cause of the demo pauses, but I think it sounds great!!!!

Hey,

Unfortunately you cant try it longer than the demo right now - It will be released when I have a copy protection system.

Each device will come with 40-50 presets.

Kind regards

I'am not at all a verb addict so 75-80 euros for each is a very high price tag and I'am usually an easy buyer ...
I'am highly enthused by your plate demo but I would hardly spend more than 60 euros for one.
I would like you to find the balance between those who whould kill the whole family for a good verb and the not verb addicted like me ! to ensure maximum money return for you and more devices in the future

Have you tried asking some of the other third party developers, about the copy-protection system I mean... (edit) - John Bowen, Wavelegth, SpaceF etc. springs to mind? Perhaps also ask them about their experiences with pricesetting.......

Cheers!

Hello Decimator.

Yes I thought the same about the price.. I was kind of surprised.., but then I realize Warp is building a Lexicon PCM91/90 clone here..and if you look for the price tag on that processor you'll see it reaches over $2000 and sometimes more. The PCM91 is one of the most professional and world wide famous reverb processors used in studios. The algorithms are really impressive, complex and create all kinds of ambiences you want to use. Yes.., I would like it to be cheaper.., but just try to compare and you'll see is a good price.

Hi Snoopy !

I retested again the demo and well ... I think I would more easily spit the money now

I moved to my other room while a track went through the demo and I thought I had a basement in my flat : just impressive !

I must reckon it's way above the lot ... but it stresses a little my limits to how much I would pay for a reverb and I'am waiting to hear the next demos, maybe I'll change my mind ...

In the meantime, I could pay 999 euros instead of 99 for Flexor, more than 3 times the price tag for Solaris 2 ... etc, for each his own !

Great device - especially dense long reverb!
What are the other algorhythms you intend to deliver?

Looking forward!

Hey,

The following algorithms will be ported from the Lexicon PCM91 :

Regarding the release date :

Im waiting for the release of Scope SDK and Im hoping that this results in a (heavy)optimized version including new features. I could release it now (as is) and then make a update available, but....... I dont know.

Kind regards

Hello Warp69

Congrats for such an incredible reverb!!..

Just a few questions:...

If you get to use the SDK, will that imply the price will go higher or something?..

Do you have any info about when the SDK will be released??.. cause I think that could take months..

and, How much do you calculate will the SDK improve the reverb performance?

Thanks in advance

S4E

Hey S4E,

No, the price is static at 80 euro with or without SDK. But this can change depending on CWA.

I have no release date for Scope SDK and you have to remember, that I might need some time for learning the new things.

Regarding performance : Well - that's a good question. It depends on what will be included in Scope DP and the new features. Right now the width module isn't sample based (but only calculated every 10 samples), so if I implements LFO then this has to change.

Ideas for features :

Crossfeedback for delay lines (echo & delay).
Filters in the feedback delay lines (echo & delay).
2 LFO's.
Delay time displayed in seconds.

Kind regards
