Hi all

I'm sure I remember seeing somewhere that it was A Good Thing to set the 'Application Response' (in 'Performance Options') to 'Optimise performance for Background Services', rather than to '... for Applications'.

I'd had my P.C. set that way for quite some time, but following the amount of 'glitch grief' I was suffering from last Thursday when working on a fairly intensive tune (I was off at the end of last week with a nasty head cold) I changed the setting back to 'Applications' and my problems promptly vanished.

Any thoughts on this one?

Yes, the standard tweak is to set it to background services. That's weird Counterparts.
