Does anybody know how I can access Midi Out on Luna and Pulsar at the same time from within Cubase? I can only access Luna Out 1 and Luna Out 2. I have activated Pulsar MIDI dest in my project. I know that the card works as I use Pulsar IN and Out for through put of midi signals in other projetts.

In my set up, I use Luna II as my main card and Pulsar as a "slave" or "sonic rocket booster".

I know you are an old Pulsar user (or I have seen your name on another forum). But have you remembered to connect the hardware inputs to the sequenser MIDI destinations?

I have included in my project Pulsar MIDI source and Luna MIDI source which go via MIDI merge to sequencer dest.

I have Sequencer Source connected directly to Luna MIDI dest and Pulsar MIDI dest. (Which go to two separate HW samplers)

Still, in Cubase SX, I can only select Creamware Out 1 or Creamware out 2. The problem is that the Midi signal then goes parallelly to both Pulsar and Luna Dest, and I want to be able to select between them.

Anyone?

Yeah, Alfonso is right:
{sequencer midi source 1} -> {Pulsar midi}
{sequencer midi source 2} -> {Luna midi}
Then you should have 2 CW midi outs from witthin Cubase :smile:

I you're on Windows you get more Seq MIDI dest/source modules by enabling more virtual MIDI devices in the Pulsar entry in device manager.

I am on W2k. I managed to make a setup that works by activating more software modules (2 MIDI Dest, I think) Now I can route midi signals from Cubase SX to either my ESI 4000 or to my EOS 6400 by choosing Luna Out or Pulsar Out!

This opens for endless possibilities!

Thanks for all advices!
