Demo of a new reverb
Wow! Really smoove. I'll bite when it's ready.
Having said that, I did notice -and I think someone else has mentioned this in a different thread as well- that there's a little bit of artifacting/aliasing/digital-distortion-ing/crackling/insert-descriptor that goes on. It's very faint, but it's enough to unsettle a soothing atmospheric.
On a side note, I ran a lecture through it and it sounded like the speaker (i.e. lecturer) was speaking at a swim meet. Really lush reflections. Good work!

Yes, I think many people might take such distortion the wrong way. It also doesn't appear to be overloading in the meters which is why I never thought that that might be the cause. So an upfront gain switch might be nice. I sometimes will run live from a source with no volume knob into the verbs/fx. In certain situations I might have to load up a micro mixer just to keep things from getting too hot.
Having said that, I think it'd be prudent to get everyone else's thoughts though as I tend to not always work in the most efficient way.
Any thoughts yall?
BTW, Thanks for asking Warp. I look forward to this and other verbs/fx in your lineup.

Hey Warp, I just recently was able to try out your device. This thing is Hot!!! At last, A verb that feels more like a creative tool rather than a utility. Don't get me wrong, I really liked the EarlyFirst stuff, even the Masterverb. I just need to buy a new MB&CPU so I can use it. I get the notorious VIA chipset "crack ping". I get that with all SFP verbs though(older computer). I'll be looking forward to your future creations!

Hey,
Unfortunately I dont have a release date, since Im waiting for the SDK. Im hoping for the possibility to improve the DSP/PCI usage.
The Ambience algorithm was infact finished first, so it will (probably) be released at the same time as the Rich Plate algorithm.
Kind regards
