If you don't have any mididevices connected to the computer by hardware, I can't see why you should (or could) do the midifiltering. Filter out bad midisignals between sequencer and sfp?

o yeah..seems to be problems with midi...i switch off midi driver in sequencer and all go smooth..but i've to test more...but i think it will go nice.
I don't test midi driver on with filter, but at this pont i can say midi part of sfp3.1c have probelms with hyper thred processors or with 800mhz bus...cause my chipset(845pe) seems to work good with 533mhz processors( that's all that the people who use this stuff says).
MOre news from me next days...i think many people have this problem by now and it's time to solve it, even by creamware staff!

cheers

I've been reading about this Midi/Active Sensing/Asus 800 FSB board bug on this forum and CW's, with concern, since my main midi keyboard has active sensing hardwired and I was updating to an 800 FSB board.
With all the reports referring to Asus boards, I took a chance and went for an Intel D875PBZ.

So after a couple of days running this board, active sensing keyboard routed into SFP, no crashes. Fingers crossed (makes it hard to play my keys), I'm hoping I dodged the problem - meaning it's an Asus specific thing. I'll report back if there's any change.
