Hi,
everything works perfectly (scope, sfp, xtc instruments, latency times etc etc)
except all the effects (delay lcr, masterverb etc etc .. )
they sound terrible (like at a lower sampling frequency) no matter where I apply them (insert or send)in cubase sx
P.S. I have refreshed the plug in information list and also tried different configuration of the asio driver)
this happens also on freshly recorded tracks (not bounced or mixed down)
the track without effect (flat) sounds great
the sfp xtc project seems right to me
What am I doing wrong ?

xtc effects sounds weird (bitcrushed) in xtc mode in cubase
Hello Kim,
thanks for your reply..
I've tried with the different ulli settings possible but ,no relevant changes in the sound so far.
my question is, how can be possible that everything is cool except the effects ?
it doesn't sound weird ?
maybe something went wrog in the installation..
(let me tell that I had to install many files (dsp) manually since they were reported missing when I 've started sfp or cubase in xtc mode ..) that means that the installation software is obsolete.
more suggestions before I try to reainstall again ?

in my experience,those types of messages,generally indicate a conflict.(for me,antivirus software.for others...)
i would pare down all running processes to the minimum and try again.(reinstall)i would reinstall cubase over the old install as well.there is more than likely a corrupt file someplace(my guess)and the shotgun approach often works....
