Hyper-Threading enable or disable?

Is it better to disable Hyper-Threading for P4 2,8 FSB 800 or not?

You need to have a 3.06 processor to Hyper-thread.

All CPUs with 800MHz FSB support hyperthreading.

I understand that it's best to disable hyperthreading as most audio software around was not written for this function. I think some new software (Is it Cool Edit?) has been re-written to take advantage of this.............but this is unusual.......

So.......disable HT in bios...
