Hello

My pulsar system is running real nice, finally. I really don't want to break it now.

...but , I'd like to use voice comms in halflife, and it's not supported by the pulsar. Would it be disasterous to re-enable the onboard motherboard's soundchip and use it alongside the pulsar?

Anyone got experience of doing this, or perhaps another workaround?

I run the MOBO sound with no problems. In fact, I didn´t like the idea cos I thought it would interfere with Pulsar, but it doesn´t. The sound comming from the MOBO goes through an out that has nothing to do with Ins and Outs of Pulsar. So the worst could be that you don´t like the sound you get from the MOBO, but you´ll not have any problems using both togheter, if this is what you mean.

No probs with MoBo sound, too. I need it to watch CDs in NERO or mp3s, videos etc.

Yes, so do I. I use it when I´m not working with Pulsar.

It is perhaps a good way of giving a brake to Pulsar Board as well.
