P4PE SoundMax it's ok or it's a problem with Pulsar?

Is there any problem if I let anabled the SoundMax capability of the P4PE? Would it interfere with Pulsar later?

you should be fine as long as it doesn't share an IRQ with pulsar. leave it on, you can always turn it off later.

I might be thinking of the wrong thing here, but isn't that SoundMax thing a single Analog Devices SHARC set to adhere to AC97 codecs? I seem to recall them selling a little ACR device by that name.
