it's just a little bit worrying to see the preset window pop up as if can't find them (this is very quick pop up maybe half a second).
May I intervene to say that it is absolutely normal and actually needed to init the presets. It happens on every device that is well designed, may be it's more apprent with "Kick Me". In synthetic for ex, you can see the 2 pop ups, and that's a proof of good design
Phew. In that case i'm all happy as Larry, i was just worried that the presets were going to become corrupted a la ModIII. Just tried Synthetic - i never even noticed before but you're right (of course).

oops, i just tried Kick Me, and about the preset search thing, i didn't talk about the same pop up screen... (i thougt you were talking about the preset list windows, which normally pops up a few miliseconds on device-load). It doesn't seem so abnormal though, it works fine...

Sorry to go back to a previous point (and off topic too!). I have experienced a similar problem to Mr Arkadin's with Wavelength's DubSub II. Then the symptom was that one of the controls that I had midi-ed up (I can't remember which) was being set to 0 when Cubase was stopped. I don't know if this could be the same issue. If there is an easy fix, maybe I could pass this info on to Wavelength?
Yes this is the same issue as cubase sends all notes and controlers off..
better open another thread and ask.
im not a cubase user, so i cant realy shed more light about this.
Do you use KickMe v1.1 ? What kind of noise is it, is it a click or a repetitive noise? Does it happen in a sequence or also when a single note is played?
as i posted earlier in the thread kick me is monophonic.
Set the midi to AVOID OVERLAPING of notes.
set the release control to be as short as posible without geting a "gate noise"
