Comparing Pulsar II onboard A/D converters to Yamaha DSP Factory's converters.

Pulsar has 24-bit A/D and gives: -84dB/-93dB rms
Yamaha has 20-bit A/D and gives: -93dB/-106dB rms

Both has -10dBV input level. But I guess they are usable ones in pulsar too..

Hi

I interpret it so that Yamaha has exceptional high quality 20-bit convertters. BUT... I have not yet chance to listen to pulsar convertters if they SOUND good or even better. One thing to consider may be that pulsar is more sensitive to interference. Those hoses out of pulsars back doesnt look like very inspiring confidence.

The hoses are fine, it is the converters themself that are exposed.

But compare the converter of A16U to those yamaha...
