Gday,
Im getting a new system to run my pulsar 2. Is this hardware a good choice to run with the card?:

Processor:Intel Pentium 4 2.40G (533Mhz FSB)
Mainboard: ASUS P4PE
Memory: 512M DDR PC2700 333Mhz Generic
Hard Drive: Seagate 60G 7200RPM ATA-100

Any help would be apreciated.
Cheers,
AL. (Australia)

I have chosen exactly the same system as you did, and after much research, so I think WE are right with it.

My only concern in regard with your configuration, and the only point different from yours, is that I would get two hard drives, cos it’s always better to install all your programs separately from your audio files. So a second hard drive for your audio files only, would be a good investment worth the money. BTW, I think your 60Gb hard drive will be soon short. Why to chose a 60Gb when for about ten more dollars you can get an 80Gb of the same quality? Just a reflection for you.

I think your system will be a very powerful one, and so will mine…

Thanks for the reply.......... as the system is an upgrade, I think i will keep my original harddrive + an 80gig one.

Take it easy...

It is an awesome setup, My new CreamWare box is made of the same mainboard except other parts are:

- P4 2.53GHz
- 1GB Kingston PC2700
- Two 40GB Seagate drives (one fixed and one in a removable tray)

As soon as I finished putting the box together and installing XP Pro + SFP and the rest, I was up and running without any problem!

Excellent price and performance!

Cheers!
