Is it true that cw doesn't support this function anymore? If it is, has anyone an idea on how I could have ADAT connectors? Thanks.

I bought the ex version, so I have the ADAT expansion. The ex version is still sold, so it must be possible to get the ADAT expansion.

And they said that the expansion isn't available no more, it can't even be ordered anymore from creamware :

I've been looking around on lots of shops online but can't seem to find one

I also mailed creamware but they don't seem to respond, bleh :

problem is I don't need or want extra dsp, not at this time anyway

I just want the extra adat connections and zlink port on my luna so I hook up a sampler on the adat ports and a Ultra A-16(which i was planning to buy..) on the 2 zlink ports with all 16 channels

An online shop said that I would be able to upgrade my card to an EX version and I emailed creamware to ask about it but no response bleh

i'm not really intrested in using the dsp cards for synths, more just for the flexible routing, the fact that it runs rock stable on my system and maybe later on I'll use some dsp effects by adding a second newer card like a pulsar 2.

I'm going to wait a few more days, If i still don't get any response than the creamware card goes out and I'm getting an RME multiface with an UAD-1 for dsp fx, at least those companies responds to emails with questions and I aint even a registred customer over there

I have nothing against creamware, I love that luna 2 card. It does everthing i want But i bought it cause I was told that I could always expand the card later on.. But in reality it doesn't seem to be that way :

Oi
After comparing the two I deceided to stick with creamware.. It runs very stable and i like the scope system..

At the moment I bought the small luna breakoutbox which fits my I/O needs at the moment

And to be honest I checked out a pulsar 2 in a local store with some of the synths and fx and I'm kinda impressed

However I have a small questions, If I add second card like you all propose. I get the dsp amount of the two cards, correct?
But Can I also use the i/o of both cards or can I only use the i/o of 1 card??

Thanks

BTW creamware has contacted me and told me that i can still get the adat extension If i go to a creamware dealer and return my card. The dealer will send it to creamware and creamware will update my card to the luna EX version (probably for the price of extension i guess)

Hm they respond a little late but they do seem to care about their users,so srry if I seem to bash om creamie in my previous post, mostly cause i already had some bad experiences with other brands of audio interfaces..
