...or almost inaudible.
its specs says 12dB(A) of noise.
it is the PAPST 8412NGL and i just mounted it in my PSU. now the noise is really low!
maybe some of you are intereseted.
it is NOT cheap: around 20euro.

They vary a lot in quality. I have had 5 in my hands, and I had to return 2 of them. Another thing is, that the manufacturers noise ratings are quite useless. They are most sertainly done in free air at one meters distance. Those 12dB Papsts shure do not say a lot, when you hold them in free air, but they are too light. When mounted, the noise rases quite a bit, because the unit is not stiff enough. And then ofcoarse the wind-noise from blowing/sucking air directly at/from stuff will only go down, when the airflow goes down. The 12dB Papst doesn't let a lot of air thru.

For a lot of people it is a fine cooler though. Just don't expect it to be too efficient. My old fan from my AOpen miditower moves more air with less noise, when I starve it with 5volts, than the 12dB Papst does . The Papsts is ok, but the 12dB measure has nothing to do with real life application noise from that fan, and that is perhaps what makes me dislike it the most - it is IMO like cheating.
