Requesting specs for a new PC having just bought a Pulsar 2

Now im sure that this has been asked of before, but I have just purchased a Pulsar 2 and looking to get a new PC. Can people please suggest to me the best motherboard to buy and whether or not to get an Athalon chipset or a Pentium chipset

don't know too much about mobo's but go pentium 4!
intel 850/850e chipsets are rock solid.

i'm on a dell p4 1.7 ghz with intel 850 chipset and 512 mb rambus win xp pro, someone told me my mobo is Microstar and i've n e v e r had to deal with "pci limit messages" etc.

I got P4-2.53ghz with an Intel i850 mobo also (rambus + fsb@533) Work flawlessly from day one....
