i never mix in SFP mode since logic ALWAYS stops when switching windows. i don't know how many posts i read that cw cards shouldn't share irq with any cards (other than another cw card). here's the "fun" part, i use the ins and outs of my luna 2, irq 17. and i've hooked on a pulsar 2 via stdm cable, irq 16. the same irq as my nvida geforce3 64mb agp videocard...... now the reason that logic stops so often has GOT to be the sharing of irq's right?
i haven't switched pci places yet, i thought i'd check with you guys first.
so a long question short: luna2, ins and outs, irq 17. pulsar2, "dsp booster", irq 16. videocard agp slot irq 16.
is this a problem?

ok point taken everyone! no bassdude, i haven't found anything in logic corresponing to the cubase "play in ..." option. however i just ordered another 256 mb rambus and i'll surely switch pci places.
i only have four pci slots, 2 for my cw cards, one for network and the fourth.... actually i don't know!
(yet another confession): i got my pc from my mother, a dell dimension 8200 and i'm one of those "well if it works it works" kinda guys. this is one heck of pc and i'd recommend it to anyone but some tweaking is (obiously) necessary.. nuff said, i'm a semi-amateur and y'all RULE!!

all your Creamware cards need to be on the same IRQ. Hopefully you can set this in BIOS, because it's next to impossible to do it in Windows.
Also, for your switching problem : you need to run Logic on a higher priority than SFP in the task manager. I run Logic at AboveNormal priority with SFP on Normal, but experiment with different settings to find out which works best for you (some people, for example, recommend dropping SFP to the lowest priority).
peace
