Look on a map

this song involves Toni Mott & Toni Allayialis singing (it's their baby), and the immortal Greg Sheehan on drums - when in Australia, try to hear him playing something - and Laurie Minson on accordion  .

I am playing my musicman stingray 5-string and my Mirafone CC tuba.

this song went down vocals first, then bass'n'drums, then tuba, and later, accordion.

enjoy, folks, we did

Hi Wayne, again, i love your music very much... Have you exploded your lungs playing that tuba like that!

Seriously, it is very cool, i love the groove in it. Like usual, it sound extremely pro. Well, for me, it is pro...

And the tuba, wow man, I don't know tuba that much, but i know that this is some serious playing! Love it! It give a touch to that song, unusual and original.

Hi there!

This is a great song. My only remarks are that I would like to hear the accordion a little bit more, as I think it gives a nice contrast with the tuba. I think I understand the decision to pan the tuba extremely to one side (otherwise it will easily clutter up the mix), but maybe you can use a reverb or delay on the tuba and pan the effect more in the center of the stereo image to give the mix a more balanced feel.

But overall I think this is a very well recorded and performed song. It shows great musical quality (I wish I could play an instrument this good  ). It's In fact one of the best things I ever heard at PlanetZ!

cheers,
vincent

Beside all synthetic stuff on this Planet I´am always glad to hear handmade accustic music, this track show that there is a great understanding in the combo, it is very nice and I want to buy the whole CD,if there is one, please! write me an E-Mail on that.

You played your tuba like a free jazz´er his contra bass, very nice and also percusiv, "when I woke up in the morning..." klack klack klack, nice.

The only thing I´ve missed is an E-Guitar, some solo and rhythm from it would complete this song for me.

Hope to hear more from this great band.
