This file has expired and is no longer available here. The owner of the topic can re-upload the file, or post a link to an off-site file.

Uses: Pulsar Effects,Pulsar Mixers
copyleft © no logo records
_____________________________________

here is another prerelease for the planetz peopz - the second track on the eminently forthcoming ep - an earlier version of this track was posted here and was called "rae 1" - this is way more developed and, in my opinion, better.

comments/feedback graciously appreciated, particularly on the mixing. I had a lot of trouble getting the sub-kick to sound good on low-end speakers, and am not sure that I succeeded.

Sounds like much knob movement.
The BD works on my Tannoy Reveal, maybe it could have a little more pressure/compression 1 or 2db?
But my ears are very consumed at the moment, my garden was a heavy work.

All in all I like your sounds and the ambient, very electronic and fresh, I missed some movement of your sounds, autopan´s or live pan mixing, at the end there is much more movement in your sounds.
The overall mix is good, nothing special and nothing bad, just working as it should.

Just my thoughts, nothing more...

Looks like we both have smoked something of the same mood -the last days, didn´t we?

Greetings
Chris

I really really like this . . . and this e.p. is going to be fucking insane !!!

The Sub works perfectly on my little denon speakers - sounding good.

I really like quite a lot of this, especially the more rythmical sections, but I think I'm getting too old for the more way-out sections.
It sounds really good on my setup too.
Let's have more soon

the low end sounds pretty well on Genelec 1030A as well as on Tannoy System 215 DMT II at my work. The production is exelent in my opinion (each instrument sounds clear (almost hospital clear) and good positioned. I like the whole composition (it still sounds in my head though I don't listen to it at the moment). However I feel there lacks something in it... Perhaps I'm used to ambient sounds but a mellow and pastel pad (my beloved Saturn!!!) could do the job - somewhere deep in the music long reverbed but I'm just guessing. If you don't mind I would add Saturn myself (just for rehearsal) and post it to you. I hope you don't find my suggestion too impudent (it's not intended)

Oops! I missed you replay and only read this message while ago so couldn't join the talk. Is the offer still available to remix the whole song from scratch (I mean: are those samples still availabel for download? The one I sent you was your mix with my tunes just glued to it
