Hello everybody,
I have some problems with my Luna II.
I installed SFP3.1c in Win98 and I had to choose between two drivers: CreamWare(ScopeBoard) or CreamWare GmbH (Creamware DSP-Board). I didn’t find anywhere which of these two drivers I had to choose and I chose the second one because its name sounds great.
Everything worked well even if I had some pci overflow messages or protection violation messages, especially when I plugged a jack in my Luna II (?!).
However, one of these ‘violation protection messages’ also told me that I have to re-install the driver. But I don't manage to re-install this driver, I have always an error in the control panel. Moreover, I can’t uninstall the SFP3.1c and I still don’t know which driver I have to choose for my Luna II.
What can I do?
Please help me!!!
Best regards,
BigB.

Luna II, SFP 3.1c, software violation, pci overflow
PCI Overflow? Typical for a VIA chipset, you got one? Then probably avoiding samplers, reverbs, delay lines will avoid too much PCI traffic.
About the CPVE: I have no idea how that occurs. In a previous OS version which wasn`t dual CPU compatible, I had big troubles with it. These problems are solves for me since SFP.

Thank you for all these answers.
I didn’t touch my computer all this weekend and this evening, I started my computer and..., strangely..., the driver was well installed
.
Well, I don’t understand anything and I don’t feel reassured…
I think that I should work on again with my old 4-tracks instead of my “professional
” audio card...
...for the moment I become a bit discouraged.
Regards,
BigB.
