Can an expert chime in on why Scope Mixers sound better than Cubase default mixing

I really think this is a "your mix" phenomenon.

seemingly little is going on but actually there is a lot going on, some stuff is implemented differently, and
also gain staging of the mixer..
that is to say, cubase mixer is _for sure_ not the same as scope mixer(s), but it shouldn't be 'worse' also, say, cubase v3 mixer is not the same as current cubase mixer, and then again, i don't know which is better because i haven't tested!
