I plugged in my card in a win 11 machine, via a pcie to pci adapter. The card shows up. I installed scope v7 demo. Scope loads. I can load modules.
In my machine I already have an RME digiface USB.
I wanted to select what audio device windows was using and I could see that there was nothing to select from (in the lower right corner). Not even my RME device, screens or any audio output. I then tried to open the windows audio device thingy and it just hung there and could not show anything. Basically I had no audio devices at all that windows could use.
I assume this is not a pcie to pci problem since the card is showing up etc. It seems more like a windows problem.
Is there a workaround for this? Is this a known issue?
Thanks

Re: Plugging in scope card crashes windows audio
EDIT:
Seems a couple of restarts did the trick. Weird but fine.
