Problem with Pusar and Cubase

Post by sandrob »

After 4-5 years, I finally changed all the capacitors on the Pulsar 2 card and installed it in the computer. Media Player works normally, but with Cubase I have an ERROR - ASIO drivers cannot be loaded.
Does anyone know what the problem is?

for Cubase, i would use either an ASIO2 source or an ASIO2 flt source and an ASIO2 dest.

Are you sure?
Version 5 worked fine for me with windows 10 before I changed the capacitors. Probably there was some error that I don't know how to solve.

I tried both combinations. Here I have attached a picture of the project that worked normally for me before the capacitors on the card were changed.
It seems that there was a hardware error... The only thing I don't understand is why multimedia drivers work and ASIO doesn't.

Scope platform works just nice with, I have :
Windows 10 64bit - Scope 7 - Cubase 13 Artist
Windows 11 64bit (also worked with Windows 10) - Scope 5 - Cubase Elements 12

Just remembered, since I had some problems running Cubase Elements 12-Scope 5 (ASIO was not recognized) ,try this :

I'm using RME now and I'm at the stage where it's difficult for me to install and try Pulsar, but when I'm able I'll let you know the result.

thanks :)

Smart combination!
Unfortunately, my slots are full and there are no more places.

I use two machines!

The Scope PC can be whatever it needs to be. Both my PCI based system and my Xite (PCIe) are running 2015/16 era workstation boards with 4 core Xeon chips, and have zero issues aside from the few documented concerns with Scope 7 on 64bit.

The downside is heat, but I have way more machines in here than just those two anyway, and the Scope boxes run so cool and stable I barely notice they're there.
