Nice and clean !
I´d be interested in the rack/stand for the rackmount synths.
Which brand/manufacturer and where did you buy ?
Any link available ?

Thank you !netguyjoel wrote: Mon Aug 17, 2020 6:54 am https://www.guitarcenter.com/Quik-Lok/R ... ce-Rack.gc
Discontinued...ebay or reverb?
Yes, seems to be unavailable, at least in my country.
But also Quik-Lok website doesn´t show it anymore https://www.quiklok.com/instrument-series/rack-stands/.
I have a lot of flightcase-/touring- racks,- small and very big ones, 4HU - 30HU ...
But are all much too deep, bulky or unattractive for my now small rooms.
A couple of your´s would have been nice !

It sucks and I'm going back to Nashville where they have fish and beautiful grass/trees.
Pandemic really hit the casinos so naturally music will be minimal.
no more big paying gigs unless you are a national act.
But I'm fine because I'll set up shop and start over, not my first rodeo..

Didn't you already get a Behringer X32 at one stage ?

I'm working on a deal to get a new Behringer Wing. Never got an X32...glad I didn't. The Wing still needs a few FW upgrades before I pull the trigger. A16 ADAT to the WING or I might just sell it....dunno yet.

For what do you want/use such mixer ?netguyjoel wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 9:13 am I'm working on a deal to get a new Behringer Wing. Never got an X32...glad I didn't. The Wing still needs a few FW upgrades before I pull the trigger. A16 ADAT to the WING or I might just sell it....dunno yet.
For PA, go ahead and use what´s available and works.
Feature wise, I´ve found the "Wing" tempting and it looks great, but for my work as a keyboardist or in a/my home studio, it seems to be overkill (even I´d need a lot of inputs).
I have a problem w/ all these digital consoles build for live/PA usage.
There are so many mix busses/outputs I´d don´t need for my purpose,- and then, like w/ some A&H, there´s no ADAT and no BNC-WC sync at all.
And when in need of more inputs,- sometimes it´s not really expandable because the DSP inside (the core) lacks that feature.
And if it is,- buying an addititional "stage box" is almost the same than buying a 2nd mixer,- just because that is what the "stagebox" really is,- a 2nd digital mixer, being based on the same mobo, offering additional 16 input channels and same count of "returns",- but lacks the haptics.
Well, I really think, XITE-1, together w/ 2 A16U, one connected to Z-Link and the other connected to ADAT, are a great alternative,- depending on the computer´s mainbord and chipset in use.
I always wanted a digital mixer w/ total recall just only for my keys until I recognized how fast the new "hardware" is outdated and SCOPE is still in developement.
Actually, I use SCOPE 7.0 x64 w/ XITE-1 and only a single "blackface" S|C A16U successfully as a mixer, routing matrix and ASIO audio/MIDI interface on a now outdated Z97 4HU rackmount w/ Win7 x64 Pro SP1.
I really wonder why additional hardware is needed, except more inputs ...
I have another Creamware A16U to expand via ADAT.
Didn´t use/check up to now, but don´t know why that shouldn´t be usable.
There´s the phase-issue talk ...
Really, I give a shit on because it was always an isuue,- analog or digital,- and it never prevented any recording from being a hit,- period.
Sometimes I really think, it´s better being a (creative) musician than an engineer !

if that deal fell through I'd be temped to looky at this one from Allen - Heath. Specs and looks f$%# awesome for similar bucks.netguyjoel wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 9:13 am I'm working on a deal to get a new Behringer Wing. Never got an X32...glad I didn't. Rick Wakeman uses it for his keyboard rig.
The internal FX are very usable too,- at least for live gigging.
Here´s a tiny version w/ exactly the same Q32 "Core",- 3HU and controllable via app (laptop, smartphone, tablet computer).

When expanded w/ this digital stagebox https://www.thomann.de/gb/allen_heath_a ... ImVuIn0%3D ...
all the 32 channels are usable.
