Ok, if I leave the mouse/kb dongle in back of rack, it doesn't work due to range or interference. So I have extended it closer to workspace with a cable.

Wifi Internet dongle, done the same thing since I want to disconnect from Internet once registrations etc. done. Again, another cable.

You are right. I don't need USB at front, but life was easier when I did have it, and without running more cables.

Well I may have made a big mistake with sourcing components. Not sure if it's a big deal but may be at the very least a waste of money? I have an i7 4790 and also picked up memory with a speed of 2133Mhz however I have since read that this speed is achievable but that it is also considered overclocking as something would need to be tweaked in bios. I don't wanna overclock the system but I guess that the memory will happily work at the slower 1600Mhz slower speed?
