Is the Raid 0+1 a good choice for use with Scope Fusion?

When the Raid 0+1 is in the motherboard chipset (and not using an extension in a PCI port), is it a good choice for working with SFP?
Has this configuration any hidden problems?

iirc all raid-controllers incriminate the pci-bus; no matter if onboard or as an extension.
