Phase is a mighty weapon in synthesis.
Let's first start with a Harmonic Phase Oscillator:

To make things more interesting, we apply a second LFO.
This one is freq. modulated by LFO 1.
The amplitude of LFO 2, and thus its effect is modulated by LFO 1 too.
