Absolutely thanks Kimgr!

But I'm laughing as I write this. We are lucky to have a benevolent company like CW to make these upgrades available to us gratis. And equally lucky to have such a great community of fellow users to step in and help out.

But clearly this is like a scavenger hunt. Which I suppose just adds to the mystique of the Creamware experience. Rock on and let's make some music!

my sentiments exactly...lots of guesswork goes on here and by myself.

but most big companies do this sort of thing to some extent or another, for what reasons exactly i don't know?

I've confirmed the old allkeys file works for everything except the Transient Designer although after a brief pop-up error message the devices seem to appear in the project window anyway. Weird.

Erm... Sorry for interrupting you guys, but I'm about 24-bit Wave again (obsessed freak am I?). In WinXP of course.
Well, WaveLab does not playback at 24-bit and something's wrong with the recording. But maybe it's up to this particular software only? Any Sonar users out there? Anyone who would try 24-bit rec/playback in Sonar? Please...
