Just one question:
Is it possible to connect the Focusrite Octopre MKII to the XITE-1 via the 2 ADAT Out's of the Focusrite Octopre MKII in the
"4 Channel per Port-Mode"?
http://global.focusrite.com/mic-pres/octopre-mkii
It's ADAT spec is as:
Digital Channel Outputs:
2x ADAT Lightpipe (TOSLINK) outputs. Provides 8 channels per port (16 total) at 44.1 and 48kHz.
Provide 4 channels per port (8 total) at 88.2 and 96kHz (S-MUX).
Does this work with the 2 ADAT INs of the XITE-1?
Thanks
Harry

I don't know if you bought it yet, but you may want to know that the Focusrite will have to be the master clock of the system.
It does not have adat inputs, only outputs, and can only send clock, not receive it through adat. I have not tried with wordclock which seems the only way to slave it to something.
It is not a big deal though, nothing "bad" in this. focusrite to xite adat a or b, and xite in slave mode.
I may want to sell mine now that I have the a16ultra repaired and the 2 xite preamps, but not 100% sure yet.....

Re: Focusrite Octopre MKII with XITE-1
I bought it and it works only in Sync Master Mode via ADAT with XITE-1.
Via BNC I didn't manage to bring it in synx. I connected the cable but no "locked" status on Octopre...
What do I have to set up on XITE?
I checked the "BNC" - box in the sample rate settings - but nothing happens. Maybe a cable-issue?
