Low density RAMS are populated with chips on both sides, having more chips, each having lower capacity. High density RAMS are edpopulated on one sided, each chip having a higher capacity....

What are advantages of having more chips than having less per stick?

Just curious...

The more chips in a stick means requiring more power consumpsion and cycle... ?

About the only real difference i have heard of is that if they are spread on both sides you get more surface area and hence they are easier to cool.
To be or not to be. What was the question?
