I have had click tracks in my ear from 84' to 2012 and as wierd as it sounds I have different clicks for different styles because I like variety.
Just thought I'd share a few dozen with you.
For drummers who still use wedges, and wish to sneak in some sidestick they can play along with intros there's a good pair for variety there as well.
One dry, one with an IR...

Everything works great in Reaper.
I actually right click on the Metronome, add the outputs that go the Buss into a Micromixer, and with that and the metronome options, I have great control over clicks, especially in off meter music.
