You can just use a regular 1/8" mini jack to 2 RCA connectors. Make sure it's short. Then use the standard SPDIF connectors -- one of the RCA jacks is stereo SPDIF Input, the other RCA jack is stereo SPDIF Output.

the powersampler spdif interface is crapy
then if u use a regular connector(rca-jack)
u hav more probabilty to get clicks drops
or for some gears no spdif lock at all...

In my brief testing last night, it worked great. I have a short (2") Y-adapter, which does 1/8" stereo minijack to 2 Female RCA. I then use a SPDIF cable attached to the Y-adapter, and it worked fine (I only tested the input since I only have one SPDIF cable in the studio at the moment, but I see no problems at all with CW's setup).

i hope i won't spark an avalanche of hatemail with the post... of course i am well aware of the impedence difference between digital coax and analog RCA, BUT once upon a time, the only way we had to connect the S/PDIF was to use a MonsterCable I400 stereo 1/8" to 2 RCA cable (1.5m) and it seemed to work flawlessly. I was so impressed that I did a lot of testing, checking error rates and of course listening for any flaws and it seems to work great. It might be attributed to the short length and high quality construction, but anyway, that's what I use now.

OK, I'm ready for my crucifiction...

I used a similiar adapter (which I honestly think should come with the cards, Creamware  ), but my Guitar Center didn't have the MonsterCable adapter (that was my first choice). Nice to know they do indeed make one, though... maybe I'll give my $2.99 adapter (1/8" stereo male -> stereo female RCA) to my friend who also bought a LunaII and try the Monster. Know of any online vendors for that?
