Can anyone help?
I recently upgraded to Scope 5 as I wanted to rebuild my PC to W7 - Not sure whats happened but I now cant get any audio into Cubase 4. It's the same with Amplitube but Wavelab is fine??? My routing set up is the same as before pretty much.
I've included a scxreen shot of routing window in case thats the issue.
Thanks in advance

I am a bit confused because I don't see a Asio destination module but I don't know your complete studio setup, though.
In a normal case you should route the audio (instruments, wave etc.) for a use in Cubase to the ASIO Dest module.
You can alter how many ASIO dest inputs you need with a right click on the Asio source module.
Let's say you have setup four inputs for the Asio dest module. Create four Ins (mono) or two Ins (stereo) busses in Cubase.
Finally choose the generated In on the audio channel of your cubase mixer, hit monitor and you should hear the audio.

Yup as Chris says, it looks like you haven't put an ASIO Destination module into the routing window. Also if you monitor via the scope mixer, make sure you have the mixer main output slider down before you play anything just in case, as you dont want to blow the speakers or your ears. Hope that helps some.

Hi,
wavelab does work fine in your 64bit OS?
Most do have problems. How did you fix this?
Grtz

Hi,
Yes had the headscratching with not being able to set Scope as the default device - I set it as below and all is ok - Not sure if this would be ok for everyone but it works perfectly for me.
Cheers

Re: Cant get audio input into Cubase with Scope 5.1
why are you using MME/Wave drivers when you can use ASIO?

He can't. Steinbergs lackadaisical to work up the S|C asio. Or vice versa, or both.garyb wrote:why are you using MME/Wave drivers when you can use ASIO?
Wavlab 6 don't work here with S|C asio too.

Thats it!
WaveLab won't work with Scope ASIO's
Took me a while to realise that it was the Scope ASIO that hung the installation of W7.
I had to uninstall Scope, Load W7 and reinstall Scope to get things going.
After that ASIO module would still hang W7 if you tried to select it, so I use the 24Bit Wave driver and all works.
