and started the installer again you will come to installing the Keys. They won't install! Damn....with the Scope keyset or without!
Be sure you do not have any spaces before or after you key when you paste them in, if you are pasting them in.
You might open up your SCOPE keyset with Notepad or a simple text editor and have a look to verify it is correct and has all your keys inside.
You can also go to http://www.creamware.com login to "My Page" click on "Serials" and download your keys in one small file that imports perfectly with the Installer's "Import" button.
It says "Cannot open registry file". The installer won't start at all with Admin rights.
I only have an admin account on my XP and it installs and runs perfectly with it, so it does definitely work with the Admin account here..
Thanks again guys! My problems seem to be solved for now, there were nothing a few driver uninstalls wouldn't cure. The usual Creamware installation procedure..
I'm now running Elektra and Pulsar1 in XTC mode with TC PowerCore. Everything seems to work fine, I got all three cards loaded in Nuendo on XP before any PCI problems occurred. TUSL2-C seems to be a tough bastard! I use a Luna box in Elektra Z-Link and it seems to work fine too. Therefore I can recommend Creamware cards with PowerCore, UAD-1 would also be nice to test with this setup. No way this would've been possible before SFP!
For those that have the problem that setup.exe doesn't do anything: As suggested by Ingo in the CW forums I downloaded the latest ASPI drivers for XP from Adaptec. After installing those I could run the SFP install without any problems.
Hope this helps anyone.
ASPI 4.7 drivers from Adaptec solved the installation problem. I had 4.6 drivers installed 2 months ago but they don't work with XP. I spent a number of hours fooling around with Administrator rights to no avail. I still couldn't install the Scope keyset, and typing each one in didn't help. ASPI 4.7 drivers fixed the problem. Thanks for the great advice Ingo.
Once upon a time, all works with Pulsar 3.01. Cool update from CW. Installer 3.1 not works. Try to install from burned CD. Not works. I look for ASPI. ASPI checker detects a part of ASPI drivers installed by WeveLab. Install ASPI 4.6 and all works OK !! =8-)
Where are 4.7 ??
Can't read AKAI CD's in browser... I like CDXtract.
