V3.1 wont de-install on my system (98se) - no matter which german
phrase I choose (english install) it doesnt appear in add/remove
program manager either.
I wanted to deinstall because it somehow destroyed logic 5.01 (I
tried re-installing Logic), and made Pulsar v3.01 unusable (Pulsar
taskbar disappeared - so I reinstalled 3.01)).
From the beginning - the sfp window was way over and right down on my
second monitor (g450) - and saving the background/startup in the right place didnt change that - also background
(startup) project would not launch.

I never got into the program to see if anything else was wrong/good
as it was pretty useless from the word go, for me, unfortuantely.

Can someone translate the german message given when you go to
deinstall ?

Ahh shucks - its never easy is it.

You could always type the message you get into Babelfish translator. You can find it in Altavista. That's what I do.

No problems here, by the way.
Are we listening?..

from cw's readme:
Language specification for MAC users:
- For the Help system to be available in the appropriate language you must edit, if necessary, the file CSET.INI (in ..:Sfp:App:Bin) as follows:

First temporarily rename CSET.INI to CSET.TXT. Look in the file for the section [runpep] under which you will find an entry for ”Language”. Adjust this entry as appropriate (that is, ”Language=Deutsch”, ”Language=English”, ”Language=Francais”). Make sure the path to the manuals is specified correctly.

Tell me the german message and I can translate it to you (I'm from germany).

Or just give me an offline message via icq (my Nr. is 23 391 391) and I translate it.

Hope that can help.

But it should say "even when you press ok - the uninstall seems to not proceed"
And I'm sure it doesnt.

And you can't go to add/remove programmes as you will not be able to uninstall from there.

SFP is pretty 'clean.' I think you can simply remove the SFP directory and thats as good as an uninstall. The new driver that comes with SFP works without issues with Pulsar V3.01 as far as I've seen, so you should be fine.
