I really don't need ModIV just now.
I prefer wait to next summer or winter special... since years I've learn that it's never the best choice to buy a brand new product after his launch on the market, in particular with software.
UAD's marketing policy is a good example for this. I've ever buyed every plugin at 80-50% of discount near every seasonal offer (or with second hand exchange).
Actually, in my studio, nothing is really necessary because I have allready good pieces of gear/soft.

It's not possible to go through the check out process on the SC website and be fooled into thinking you would be getting a different price than the one currently quoted so there is nothing underhand here imo.
