Back online

Post by spacef »

Hi,
The download section is back online and working.
This section was accessible but for some reason, downloads were corrupted.
Now Fixed. Download section accessible from the ressource menu on my site.
Sorry for the few who had to suffer the frustration of not being able to open freeware zip files...

The shop is still to be fixed, and user accounts registered since 1st august 2009 are lost (but user area accounts haven't stopped working of course, and registrations of the last two monthes are ok so no worries for customers - if you want to see all that have been released and downloadable since august, just log in the user area).).
Well, just for the info.
See you soon

what about the "old" messages?
I discovered that may in/out/sent box was empty when I sent you a happy birthday recently. is that pre-relaunch history gone, then?

Thanks for the heads-up Kylie, you made me solve another problem :-)
You can access your private mail now. I have your Bday greetings in my own inbox :-)
If you click on "Private messages" at the top-right, and then go to your "outbox", the messages that you sent should be there.

What is no more on the profiles is the connections with friends and other community stuff (you can find those on the "xiting" site, which has all those fancy stuff; it just lacks a profile player to be a mini my-space-book type of site :-) (there is one in fact but not active...)

What happened is a data corruption around the 10th of october, and backup could not be used, so i had to migrate the old site again (fortunately, i've kept that one) and so... all between the end of july and october 10th is lost. I took this opportunity to relook the site again in a way i like more :-)

I could before. there was one sent and one received message. and it's still like that ;)

no they aren't. or they were more than 365 old which could mean they were erased automatically. but I'm sure there was no unread message in there, which should be kept for 2 years. and I would think I sent and received something within the last 2 years...

You are right, I forgot I changed the PM application this summer and previous PMs were not kept.
But your message of 14th october should be there in your outbox, no ? it is possible that i did some more manipulations and that it was deleted for some reason or due to some other weirdness...

They could be accessible on the old site, there is a little chance that it is still there through the old mail application. http://www.spacef-devices.com/dacore/
Was it something very important ?

In any case, all apologies, but this is something I haven't been able to avoid (the site crash) but now there is enough backups and other secutrity stuff so it has very little chance to happen again.

PS; just added a field to input BlackBox User area info (shown to the account owner only, ie, you can access it when you go to "Update my Profile" ).
Also, the time limit before deletion of inbox/outbox is 4 years now ... trashed messages are kkept 90 days before final deletion....

yes, the messages (1 in, 1 out) from oct 14 are there. I just wondered why they are the only ones... ;)

hell, no, but I know you are keen on knowing about everything we notice that doesn't seem ok, so I thought you should know.

ah yes, sound fine :)

My son now knows who the mighty Medhi T. is.....
I bought him DJ Hero, and then showed him some of your Fader/Pedal stuff.
He got all excited watching the faders move form using the expression pedal.
Thanks Again.

Yes you made me search about that this morning :-)
http://www.djhero.com/media?page=1#vid_222

it already happened to me to see youg kids showing off at college entrance with their guitar hero "guitar" but now they don't even need to learn to play "guitar hero" anymore... :-)
I am also working on a license with Activision "Device Maker Hero" so anyone can play making devices at home and have a hell of a lot of fun avoiding crashes and looping in exceptions without even having an sdk :D ... sweat...

Awesome.
Returms on Top allow a less cluttered screen and this weekend I will use playback VDAT seques of Orchestral stuff. I have a very difficult time performing the Orchestral stuff live. I need automatred curve draws from Cubase which is much faster than manually ganging faders on a mixer or bouncing, etc.
The best gigs around right now are solo, and you get a Grand Paino at Bally's, a 9" Steinway....I will record live on that in 2 weeks.
I will report back on LBH VII SE after work.
A God Amongst Men....Medhi T.

Bump!

Is VDAT working in v5 now? Or is it only working in v5 with the Xite?

Cheers!
