"I think the NAMM brochure should give you a good idea about what we intended with SFP 3.1. The main new feature is the Live Bar which allows a totally different way of work (all important parameters can be accessed from one little window). Still you can work in the Routing Window as before if you prefer it this way.

There are only a few new devices (e.g. the STM 1632 mixer). We rather concentrated on stability (e.g. DSP placement in heavy projects), compatibility to old projects, and some other core functions. The hardware IOs are treated differently now: you can load projects that were built with a diferent card now much easier.

There are some little but nice new features: automatic cabling from modules to the mixers, loading devices from the mixer channel, converting AKAI programs to STS, XTC mode for Luna users, Shift + N connects all remaining cables at once, works for deleting cables also, and so on.

3.1 will include a Gigasampler module for Win 2000 / XP and 24 bit wave drivers. We also fixed the BigMixer bug with saving insert effect settings.

We are full of hope you will like the new version
