Production Room: Xite-1 available for order in the UK/EU etc

Post by David »

Xite-1 has now been added to the webpage of the Production Room

http://www.production-room.com/sonic-co ... ope-xite1/

You can also ring, Shorn, at the Production Room, who is a knowledgable contact for dealing with Sonicore products here in the UK

Unless Thomann are charging £95 for postage and packing, it's still significantly cheaper to buy from them than through Production Room. (£2498.95 vs £2403.70) :(

Of course I'd relish them price matching but its still a saving and significantly cheaper than any other UK supplier I could find.

Also I found the sales person at Production Room very helpful and able to discuss the product with me and I was reassured by the company's after sales service and ethos.

If for some unforseen reason I needed to return my purchase I only need send it to an English address which is surely cheaper and I would also be able to leave all the negotiating to them as English is my only language. God forbid this unfortunate event will ever happen and I need to use this service but I think this security and service is worth the money alone.

I'm also unsure how air tight the guarantees from sales companies not based in my constituent country are as I 've never tried it out yet and I wouldn't want this product to be my first trial of such a system no matter what the assurances, it's too much risk at this money. I thought this too made buying from a UK supplier worth the little extra cash.

As I've said before, I'd of course relish them to price match but its still a saving and significantly cheaper than any other UK supplier I could find.

It's choices at the end of the day, I don't work for Production Rooms, I'm a Scope user and soon I hope I'll be an Xite-1 user.

You're right on all of those points, of course, Feg.
I think I'm still trying to adjust to the fact that (due to no fault of either Sonic Core, or any distributor) the Xite-1 is going to cost me £500 more than it was going to when it was first announced. That's quite a price hike. Production Room do offer a price matching service on the site, so when the time comes (not for months, unfortunately) I'll definitely be checking them out. Thanks for all the info so far.

I also discovered that when you get through to the final screens of the Thonman purchase that the advertised price is the minimum you could pay and the actual price fluctuates depending upon the exchange rate! Which could make a significant difference to the end price you finally pay.
