Just wondering whether Sonic Core will be showing at the Frankfurt Music Messe 2009 in April or not? I just checked the list of exhibitors and don't see them on it?

I think they are, I might visit them too, not sure exactly which day(s) yet...
I'd like to stay overnight this time, for a beer or two with the team and the aficionados ;-)

Hi Everyone!

Sonic Core and John Bowen Synth Design will be again sharing a booth at Frankfurt Messe. Look for us at booth D39 (building 5.1).

So, you're in the 'surround' (5.1) building?

If there are enough Planet Z members coming on the same days, we should organize something 'official' as a get-together. Everyone can meet at the booth, or decide if it makes sense to gather in the evening somewhere as well.

If they have a hot booth-babe do the Xite walk-through, then we're screwed!

At what point does one give up hope?

I'm not a software engineer, nor do I play one on TV, but...you have to wonder what kind of a problem it is that takes over a year to address and repair. What could possibly have happened to introduce this kind of delay?

I know all the fan boys will tell me that there have been no official release dates and that I am imagining that it was supposed to have been ready for release twice now. I guess SC have been giving info to a select few here because their hope seems eternal. The rest of us are left to flap in the wind.

I simply cannot fathom how a company thinks they can operate like this. No product equals no income, and at some point the money people will lose their patience as well and pull the plug before they lose any more investment money. How can this go on forever?

I think the whole situation is completely insane.

No fanboy here (mostly), and not making excuses, but...

1) Hardware development SUCKS!
2) feature requests came in mid-stream, and decision was made to implement
3) hardware development SUCKS! (almost as bad as software).

I'm also getting very anxious, and if it's not release soon after MusicMesse, than SOMETHING is wrong.

But I'm keeping the faith - having witnessed a working Xite at NAMM back in January - so it DOES exist.

Moe than anything else I am annoyed that they simply don't tell us anything.

We are, by any standards, an incredibly loyal user base. We are the ones who will proselytize to our fellow musicians and recordists upon the product release. In essence our enthusiasm could be the primary marketing tool for SC. I think it is only fair that they keep us in the loop and give a clue what is going on. The word "soon" has lost all meaning...

I agree that MusikMesse would be the litmus test...so we wait.
