Good idea

Information for new readers: A forum member named Braincell is known for spreading lies and malicious information without even knowing the basics of, what he is talking about. If noone responds to him, it is because he is ignored.

Re: Mr Arkadin's Presets Thread
Mr. A's In Da' House....
Wow...you put alot of work into these, thanks Mr' A.
Vox Humana's are excellent.
2 others that made me laugh were the High Pains Drifter and the Cheezy Vegas Wedding....
The ones I have found extremely useful for anyone who wishes to scratch below the surface are the Ext.'s. Quite a collection, and many I will incorporate.
I use the B2003 the same way I use my Analog hardware synths. Very few presets, and tons of real time control. Such synths and devices were not meant to be statically played.
Have you tried using Mehdi's CC2 / CC5 or CC8 with the B2003 yet?
If you haven't all I can say is you will be playing for hours. It was meant for the B2003.
I actually got rid of my Klang's and ASB's because of them.
Thanks Again Mr. A...

Re: Mr Arkadin's Presets Thread
I stole your preset # 3 Clean / Wide Stereo and used it w/ my favorite Nylon.
The horn frequencies bring out the fake slides and fretbuzz really well.
I mixed it with unaffected tracks so the B2003 wouldn't be so heavy.
A small splash of the RMX160 and it's a nice live sound.
B2003 is dry so that weird ambience horn thing doesn't muddy things up.
Thanks Again For Letting Me Steal Your Shit.

Re: Mr Arkadin's Presets Thread (Updated 12.04.09)
Absolutely. i must emphasise that not all these presets are mine but i always credit the maker - i even fill in the Author section in the description pull-up of the presets lists if they haven't done it themselves (people do know that's there, right?). i thought it would be easier to have all the presets in one file so that people don't have to tediously copy banks over and also some people may have missed some of the banks (i have Profit 5 banks that i have no idea where they're from).hesnotthemessiah wrote:Thankyou [...] all those who contributed to the presets

There will be more presets to come but i've been busy at work, as soon as i get a break i will get back on the case.

Re: Mr Arkadin's Presets Thread (Updated 12.04.09)
Great! Thanks to all who contributed to the new Presets!
These synths are still some of my favorites.
The other day I was doing an A/B test with my Miniscope MKII and a Voyager..I gotta tell ya...In a mix, you can't hardly tell the difference. Slight subtleties when they are side by side..but all & all...I am very happy with the "forgotten" ones - and the new preseats will spice up my other synths too!
Thanx Again!
Joel
