Tried ProTone as I told but it didn't work (didn't accept my key).

Yeah that's exactly what I'm going to do, naturally it's his business to find a solution.
I've already had several e-mails with him but not yet found a positive result.

again, what pro one did you buy? the S|C pro(t)one or the one from john bowen/zarg?
98E suggests you can't have bought the protone, so it must be zarg. ralf has given you an improper link (can happen). try this one:

ftp://sonic-core.net/software/3rd_Party ... 20v3_0.zip

ps. I'm afraid you didn't read MY earlier post

Hi Markus,
This is from an e-mail I got from Ralf confirming my order:

"Hello,
please get the oxe-files for pro-one and six string from here.
ftp://sonic-core.net/software/SCOPE_Family/nokeys_OXE/"

It says pro-one and gives a link where I found (as I wrote above) 3 files with pro...one derived names: Pro-One, Pro-One Solo and ProTone.
I have downloaded and tried to install them all, with no luck.

Btw. I did read YOUR post but I'm sorry I didn't understand it correctly - in this context, I mean :)
Thanks for the link. I'll try it later today afternoon. Just now there's too much going on in the house (3+1 visiting grandsons, ranging 2 to 5 years + one just 1,5 weeks old)

as I said... ralf is not error-free [tm], so you might forgive him...
It says pro-one...
it would have been helpful if we knew what pro one you bought. we tried all we could to make you aware of the fact that there are 2 versions of pro one now available...
if only you let slip a word that it was all about the recently added device from JB, you could have been there much earlier (well, I believe you will be where you want with that file :)). so we had to extract the necessary information from the pricetag...

no offense meant :). if there was anything unclear, you could have asked deeper. I mean, we were trying to be helpful, didn't we?

this is quite a family you have. congrats :)

Actually I bought four synths/plug-ins and this is the only one that doesn't install like it should.
I don't think it's my fault as the other 3 went ok (I had problems with others too, but they're solved now).
So,
At first I did as directed by S|C, put the .oxe file into App/Oxe folder.
The installation showed a message "Initialization of Zarg_Pro-One_NoKeys successful", but the installation process didn't go further - it didn't show a window where I could put my Pro-One registering code into.
Of course when reopening Scope there was no Pro-One showing in the Scope Synths or PlugIns Menu. Or elsewhere.

Then I tried with the pluginsinsaller.exe.
Identical results.
So at least the process starts ok. But doesn't continue properly.

I have sent e-mails to s|c but the replies I've got have not led anywhere.

Another thing (though I don't know if it has anything to do with this):
Every time I open synths.pro I get error messages "Exception! array index 1 out of bounds". This repeats twice.
Then comes: "Exception! no error description".

Hi Markus,
Maybe it's because of my difficulties with the English language or whatever, but I have a vague feeling that we going in circles. Never mind, as long as the problem gets solved I have nothing against it. So let's go on with this shadow boxing  I quite enjoy it... :D

You wrote it would be helpful if you knew what pro-one I bought, and that you tried to make me aware of the fact that there are 2 versions of pro-one now available...(etc). As a matter of fact I've learned that already earlier during this topic.

Well maybe I wasn't putting it clearly but I think I at least tried to tell you (maybe not you personally but at least here). :)

So let's go again:

I bought a Pro-One from the Sonic Core site. They had this winter special offer. Does this tell you anything, Markus?
I don't frankly know what details I have forgot to tell already, sorry.

And please, if my sentences sound stiff and serious it's not by intention. (Just the foreign language...)
So maybe you have now helped me out of this pro-one problem, I'll try your link within a couple of hours :)

Btw.the grandsons are now having fun with their brand new Wii ( the elder ones playing and this poor 2 year old crying desperately because his mother is busy with the baby).

Oh well, that's life :)

Cheers

Put them into the oxe folder of your scope installation ( Scope / APP /
OXE ) and start Scope."

There on the download site are three similar sounding names: Pro-One, Pro-One Solo and ProTone.

I tried Pro-One, Pro-One Solo, no success; and also ProTone but the activation key didn't work with it.
   Who didn't read who's posts? No, I'm not serious, just joking

In that case you have bought the Zarg Pro One, you may be best getting support from John Bowen directly:

Yes it works...well I've not played on it, not yet, but it installed without any problems and loads normally, so I believe it works too, as designed.

BUT IF NOT....I'LL BE BACK...AND THIS TIME... (No, I was just joking   )

I knew, indeed

well, I perfectly knew there are two versions of the Pro One, because the "old" Pro One (later called proTone) was the first plugin I ever bought from the CW shop. I got it for half the price, since this was the policy when registering a new card (I bought a NOS Pulsar XTC from a dealer who still had it in stock). I even got this price divided by 2 again because they offered it for a wrong price in the shop by mistake
later I took the offer from john bowen to crossgrade to his WC Pro One 3.0 (the one you just bought for a nice price) for another bargain.
Thank you for your patience and help.
no problem. glad we finally hit the nail on the head :)
how many activation keys did you get for the Pro One, btw? one or two?
And now to our little family celebration...(Tomorrow it's my 70th birthday  Yes 70th! )
happy birthday from over here. now it's time to teach us younsgters some lesson...

I got one activation key and that worked after I had found the right Pro One. :)
