Guys from adern,

I'm sure you know about this and that's why I'm lightly HS asking you questions about this:

why did goa-trance went to some bad, cheesy, hard weighted boring pop music?
What happened (I know you didn't directly stick to that movement but it was so strong in Israël in the past 10 years)?
Are we less worried about world's future because of the new millenium (XXIth century fully engaged now) or is it that machines direct us to some new (bad) ways, or maybe we abandonned that way of thinking? Back to the roots is not making credits anymore?
Where is the creativity in that music, now that we see cunts like Infected Mushrooms trying to maintain in the top 100th most wanted DJs in tha' f. world?

Please answer me in a way or another: shall we think about goa-trance as a dead body or will it have a new birth during our (dark) close future?

Cheers and good luck for your next prods.

hey ,

i'm asking the same thing myself, that "is" or maybe i should say "was" my favorite style from the whole beginning, now somehow i don't listen it much often, maybe older tracks time to time,

while producing my tracks i always stick to oldschool style and never care how sounds goa-psy today, cause i've heard some albums and sometimes i don't know if i'm
listening first or last track, sounds pretty much the same, there are very little nice tracks which i could listen more like some old good goa-psy :)

I aggree with the statements above, but isn`t it the same with almost all kind of commercial things?

not only goa but also other music styles like rock and pop become a short-period fast rolling money machine with less characteristics.

Even 95% of the movies I view get me bored.

Money is ruling this world of capitalism, and to make the big money you have to adress the mainstream, and once you wanna adress the mainstream, you have to make your product easy-consumable for almost every person. And that brings it down to a boring non-individualistic product in many cases.

Wise words HiFiBoom.
My friend made the best wireless ear monitors ever created, but realized servicing the " Stars " and musicians of the world was a losing propostition.
Several years ago he went to the consumer market and made millions.
Now he's back building and marketing what HE Likes..................thankfully ( for me ) it is a high quality product which doesn't sell as much.

I often pity Soniccore for staying in the niche market they dwell....but then again I am very glad.

jeah soniccore is a good example, outstanding quality, great system but not an extreme seller.

on the other hand there are people that get rich with handy ring tones and poker online portals.
crazy world this is.

Its because the drugs are not as good as they used to be :P
j/k :D

basically i think it really depends on the crowd. if you demand the old Goa stuff it will come. and sure enough there is a comeback to old Goa here in il. just a couple of weeks ago there was a classic Goa party here even simon Posford and Union Jack were here :) and all the oldschool israeli guys of course...

I'm reassured there still are some old school sound stuff around yours (the sound might have changed a bit however, hearing how Postford is doing his old tracks Live now). I should try and come to ear how "deep" is the sound around there.
Here we are damned crippled with new "Psy trance" and I desperately look for gatherings the way it used to be but it changed so much (in bad). And comforting what you said, I sense maybe youth has needs for more violent beats as well. That may be another reason... I dunnno.

Anyway, thanks for your opinion. Again, I hope you succeed in your different projects, keeping the spirit, whatever the crew's name

Same here! Sometimes addicted again during quite some time, but now more in order to stay right in the mood before diving for a few hours of Cubase and sampling and you name it.
Sticked to try and produce "old" sound anyhow.

Yop! Gotta listen to the best I know though: Astral Projection, Hallucinogen. Some Japanese, English but mostly Israeli artists. Bored of no head and queue! I also recently remembered the superb performances of "the gathering" album - IF : simple (and maybe one of the "hardest" sound ever for me) but efficient. Same efficiency with many more productions from that time. A real pleasure

But the feeling to be far away from evolution. I don't like it. It's a kind of a fight trying, trying and trying again sticking to that...
Let's not stop trying :P

Hii

My bigest hope is the native FleXor will have a iLok or any license Device

the Challenge / Response are big rubbish and headache

i'm willing to pay 50$ + for the overall price of FleXor Native and to use a iLok or anther License Device.

+ we will have the freedom the Move between the main DAW to the Lap top on the run :)

So, if something goes wrong with whatever software/hardware combination PACE in all its allmight provides, there's nothing that the Flexor team can do about it and as a free bonus the paying customer can loose the possibility to use Flexor? Neat.

Pardon my bluntness, but what motivates you to post such option for Flexor here?

ola plonter,
we have yet to decide how we are going to deal with software protection, and we really didn't plan on hardware dongles, as people tend to break loose or forget them in places. they also make the software waste extra resources.

could you expand on why do you prefer a hardware dongle?

Cheers!
