Hi,
What is the minimum pc rack unit size that I could use to fit a scope card, 3U or 2U?
Thanks.
Scope size card
Re: Scope size card
i would think 3u and if it were me, i might stick with 4u, sorry to say.
if it makes you feel better, just think how much real equipment those 3-4 rack spaces would be...

Thanks garyb,
I was looking at xcase.co.uk and could not completly make my mind up which would suit a scope workstation better.

Re: Scope size card
My work just donates a bunch of these old dual xeon servers to whoever wanted them.
i kept 2 of them. they are very sturdy antec ones.
i took out the guts and kept the cases
i probably only need one of them but i dont fancy sending them anywhere they are heavy.

Re: Scope size card
Despite the fact that it should be possible to fit it into a 3u chassis, I'd agree that 4u is the sensible option based on interior space & ventilation. If you didn't mind a hardcore experiment though, it's theoretically possible to put a Scope pro in a 1u server chassis that has the required depth.
