how to disable ACPI in win 98

here is a link i got from an OASYS user who was getting lockups because of IRQ sharing on a motherboard that will not allow ACPI to be disabled.

I posted the same method a few weeks ago in this thread and I can confirm that it works. Not that it changed anything for me, no harm either.
